Dave, Managing Director of the company, started as an apprentice carpenter back in 1998. Finishing his apprenticeship in 2002 and continuing with the Certificate IV in Residential Building, all completed by the end of 2003. David furthered his career and skills for several years, sub contracting to a local builder as a site foreman/carpenter and after obtaining his building licence in 2004 David Ferrari Constructions Pty Ltd was born with a firm view to becoming a leading building firm on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. With a real passion for the industry, David is still very hands on, lending a hand to the team as well as keeping a close eye on the quality to ensure our high standards are maintained.

In his time off David enjoys spending time with his young family, socialising, surfing, fitness training, golf and soccer.

Louise, David’s beautiful wife, is a part time primary school teacher. As well as bringing up a young family, Louise helps out with the office administration and bookkeeping of the company.

In her down time Louise loves to spend time with her 2 sons and daughter as well as keeping fit at the gym and socialising with friends.

About David

David is the Company’s Licensed Builder and Managing Director.

David took his passion for High School Woodwork into a Carpentry Apprenticeship in 1998. After completing Cert III and Cert IV, he started the company in 2004 and has steered it to its current position as a leading construction company on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

A father of 3 young kids and of course the business keeps him very busy, but when time allows he loves to spend time with family & friends; get out in the surf, play golf, tennis or simply train for fitness at the gym or local beaches surrounds. A recent 70.3 mile Ironman Triathlon and a 50km Ultra Marathon were proud achievements.

About Louise

Clearly the better half of David… Louise is a Primary School Teacher (part time) and a busy mum to 3 kids.

Louise looks after the back-end office administration of the business.

In her time off Louise enjoys hitting the gym, running around the beaches, catching up with friends for a coffee…. and of course spending time with her young family.

Louise loves her fitness, particularly running and has completed a Marathon in under 4 hrs and most recently, completed an Ultra Trail in the beautiful Blue Mountains.

About Stu

Stu has been a part of the Ferrari Team for over 10 years, starting as an Apprentice Carpenter, and building up his trade, management and leadership skills to the point where he is a Foreman of exceptional quality.

Ryan Millard

About Ryan

Ryan has been with the company since early 2015. Ryan immigrated from South Africa in 2013 and his previous career was in TV and Film audio post production, after completing 2 studio builds he realised his real passion was in carpentry. He has obtained his Cert III in Carpentry and Cert IV in Building and is a massive asset to the team with a broad range of skills in the renovation/extension industry.

In his time off Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and animals, and is an adoring dad to a very energetic toddler.

Ryan enjoys fishing when time allows, has a passion for creating custom build furniture, and is a keen aquarium enthusiast.

About Borzoo

Borzoo came on board with Ferrari Constructions in 2019. Well liked and respected by the team he brings to the company a varied skill set within the renovation/construction industry.

Borzoo immigrated from his home country of Iran in 2015 & has set down roots in Sydney with his wife & young daughter.

Undertaking renovations to his own residence takes up a lot of weekend time, though when he’s not working Borzoo enjoys spending time with his young family and a rock climbing in the beautiful Blue Mountains west of Sydney.

About Tom

Tom  joined the FC team in early 2019 and has quickly proven to be an asset to the team.

Tom completed his Apprenticeship in 2018, gaining his Cert III, and is looking to gain his Cert IV in the near future.

A real waterman, in his spare time Tom loves to go surfing and spearfishing around his Northern Beaches home.

Zac Ritchie

4th Year Apprentice Carpenter

About Zac

Zac started his apprenticeship with the company in 2017 and is currently undertaking his carpentry apprenticeship and Cert III at TAFE. Zac had started his career post High School in Landscaping but has since decided that Carpentry / Building is his real passion. He enjoys learning his trade under the DFC banner. the team are impressed with his work ethic and ability to pick things up very quickly.

In his time off Zac enjoys playing Rugby and socialising with mates… Surfing is a big passion, Zac spends half his week living very close to Narrabeen beach with his Dad and loves to get out in the surf when he can..

Nick Porter

4th Year Apprentice Carpenter

About Porter

Nicholas has just started his apprenticeship with the company recently 2018 and is currently undertaking his carpentry apprenticeship and Cert III at TAFE.

In his time off Nicholas enjoys surfing, watching Rugby and socialising with mates. He is currently studying a Construction Project Management course by online correspondence with strong aspirations for his future.

Todd commenced his Mature Aged Apprenticeship with us in 2019  and brings valued skills and knowledge to the team. 

In his time off Todd enjoys playing soccer for Wakehurst FC, exercising outdoors and socialising with friends.

About Saxon

Saxon is the newest member of our team, commencing his School Based Apprenticeship with FC at the start of of 2020.

Nugget’s a great addition to the team, and combines his schooling and apprenticeship training with half back duties in representative league.

About Lachlan

Lachlan commenced his Apprenticeship with us in late 2019 after having undertaken two work experience placements previously …. he so impressed us with initial carpentry skills and work ethic he became part of the team!

In his time off, Lachlan enjoys surfing and snowboarding, and has played rugby union for the Manly Marlins.
